• Can I start using ShopCartIndia.com's services immediately after I sign up?

  Yes, once you receive your membership confirmation, you are ready to start shopping! We will immediately begin accepting all of your merchandise.

  - Please ensure that all of your shipments include the address of the ShopCartIndia.com Distribution Center and your unique

  Customer account number.

  - Any packages shipped to us with an incomplete or inaccurate address will cause delays and will be handled by our special

  handling department.

  - Any packages needing review for incomplete or incorrect addresses will be charged a $5 per packagespecial handling fee.

• Is the Indian Address provided to me a P.O. box address?

  No. ShopCartIndia.com provides you with a proper address and not a P.O. Box Address. You will receive a complete address with a unique customer account number.

• What are the services included in my ShopCartIndia.com membership?

  Each Membership includes your own online ShopCartIndia.com account and e-mail notification of all shipments and merchandise

• What is your policy regarding customer privacy and confidentiality?

  It is our policy never to sell or give away any information about our customers.
  We understand our customer's concerns regarding confidentiality. The privacy of our customers is of utmost importance to us and details regarding our policy may be found in our Privacy Policy.

• Can I buy items from retailers, websites or stores that are not listed on your “Shop with Us” page?

  absolutely!  You can buy from any retailers or individuals you wish.
  Our product categorization makes it easier for you to search for the product you are looking for!
  In case you didn't find what you are looking for, no worries, just use our "Shop for Me" service and we will find the product for you!

• What forms of payment are accepted by Shop Cart India and its partner brands?

  For your convenience, we accept a wide range of payment methods:
  -PAYPAL
  -Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and other major Credit cards)
  Cash On Delivery, Cheques, Money Orders or Western Union Transfers are NOT accepted as modes of payment as of now.

Ship With Us

• Can I expedite the shipping of my package?

  Yes. If you need to get your package shipped to you as quickly as possible, you may select the “Urgent” option when
  creating your ship request.
  
  There is nominal fee of $10 charged for Urgent Shipments
  
  Please note that our fee for urgent shipping applies to shipments containing up to ten consolidated parcels. If your urgent shipping request consolidates more than ten individual packages, we charge $1 for each additional box included in the shipment.

• What is Dimensional Weight and how is it calculated?

  All international carriers use higher of actual weight or dimensional weight to determine the shipping costs (billable weight)

  Actual Weight is the weight of the package when put on a scale. Dimensional Weight is based on the weight AND SIZE of the package.

  Large items that have a low actual weight relative to their size-- like pillows and soft toys, will result in a larger Dimensional Weight.

  Dimensional Weight is calculated by multiplying the dimensions of the item.

  The industry standard DIM Factor is 139

  Dimensional Weight is calculated by as Length multiplied by Width multiplied by Height, then dividing that total by the "DIM Factor."

  The cost of shipping an item depends upon both, its actual weight and its dimensional weight – the amount of space the item occupy or fills in an airplane’s cargo

• Do quoted shipping rates include Import Duties and Taxes?

  While our shipping rates include all shipping and handling costs, you may still be responsible for certain Import Duties and Taxes levied against your shipment by your country. Shop Cart India is not responsible for any delays in shipping associated with customs difficulties. For more information, we suggest contacting your local customs office.

• Which countries do you ship to?

  For a list of countries we serve, view the Countries serviced link under the "Ship with Us" tab.
  Please check details of the country you are choosing, as not all shipping options are available in all countries.
  If a country is not listed on our website, we do not offer service.

• What is “Shop for Me” service by Shop Cart India?

  Shop Cart India will be your “Personal Shopper” and shop for you.

  
  Give us details of the product(s) you wish to purchase from India and we will personally handpick the product so that you could experience convenient and quality shopping wherever you are!

  
  We will shop, pack and deliver it to you right at your door step! ?

• When should I use the “Shop for Me” service?

  The “Shop for me” Service can be used in any of the following situations:

  1. You did not find the product online on any of the Indian websites/Stores
  2. An Indian Retailer who does not accept International Credit Cards
  3. An Indian Retailer who accepts only Cheques(Checks) or Cash
  4. An Indian Retailer who would not accept/deliver to an International Billing address.

• How does “Shop for Me” service work?

  Shop for Me works in just few simple steps:

  1. You Shop at any merchant and locate the item you want to buy or let us know what you are looking for, incase you don’t find it online
  2. Complete the Order Form
  3. We will get back to you with the complete order details(Product Price, Shipment Charges and Approximate delivery time)
  4. Once we receive the payment for the product and the shipment charges, we will initiate the purchase and shipment process
  5. A Personal shopper will place the order and keeps you informed at every step
  6. We notify you when the goods are received at the Shop Cart India Warehouse
• How long does it take my personal shopper to place the order?

  We will do our best to fulfill your requests as quickly as possible. Your Personal shopper will place your order within 1 to 3 working days* post receiving the product and shipment charges. We will keep you informed at every step.
